Hi,

Can I use my savegames in future updated versions or do I have to begin a new game?

Thanks! :)

Hi Athanasius!
Your save files will be totally intact, even if you totally delete the game folder and re-download it afresh!
However, we strongly recommend downloading and launching the game through the itch software. This way, you will be able to conveniently patch your game whenever a new update is made! (And mind you, we are updating a lot these days)
How far are you in the game, if we may ask? :)

I just took my first steps last night, explored the town a little bit. It looks absolutely lovely and the voice acting is flawless.

I wanted to ask about the savegames because I accidently loaded a savegame from the demo version and when I tried to leave the bar I got mysteriously "teleported" directly to the Indian village.

Good to hear!

Lol yes. The game variables are different for the demo. In the demo saved file it is registered that it is a demo and the game is behaving accordingly.

BTW, by default, save files are found at this path:

<<userName>>\AppData\LocalLow\Sand Wagon\Joyfess I

Thanks, good to know!
